I was Born in Pusan, South Korea and raised in the Philippines. I started playing bass at age 12 for our highschool band (primarily because everyone else wanted to be a guitar player - hehehe).

My early musical influences stemmed from grunge and heavy metal; including Metallica, Sepultura, Testament, Slayer. Later on, I became familiar with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers' Flea and Primus' Les Claypool, and then got exposed to more virtuosic bass players, such as Robert Trujillo, Billy Sheehan, Geddy Lee, and Jaco Pastorious.

My formal musical training began in 1998, in New York, studying under Keith Carrol. I also took classes at The Bass Collective and at The New School for Music. Shortly after, I continued my music education at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, first enrolling in the five-week summer progam, and then a year later, being granted a scholarship to study full-time and pursue a degree in Bachelor of Music, majoring in Performance.

I am currently establishing myself as a bass performer and sessionist, working with an eclectic blend of talented musicians and artists in the Greater Boston Area.

I have also began to expand my musical horizons through involvement in composition and production, mainly through my project, Project O.N.S. - Standard Pleasure Model - a three-person collective that brings the energy of drum & bass and combines it with the textures and nuances of fusion and jazz.

I am constantly seeking opportunities to apply the years of experience I have in various musical endeavors and to be a "versatile" bass player both in the musical and the collaborative sense.
